What we recognize as “opposites” on the surface of things are sometimes twin reflections beneath those same surfaces. So it is within the lines below. The colors and rhythms match each other; each absorbs each, and they reflect one another in a pulsing state of continuous creation and re-creation.
Rainbow-Song for the Angel of Tao (verse 2)
is not so very different…
first a butterfly kiss that glows…
the color of dawn’s golden eyes…
then another, wet and hungry,
painted like midnight’s indigo skies.
The beauty of the one echoes
the secret joy of the other…
cradling harmony inside a tattered soul.
